My Playlist

So music is a great thing as I hope you know, so I'm going to lay out a playlist of all the tunes I'm into at the minute.  I'm an alternative rock/singer-songwriter fan so if that's not your thing just give it a try and see how it goes.  Completely open to suggestions so don't be afraid to comment x

  1. Do I Wanna Know - The Arctic Monkeys
  2. Electric Feel - MGMT
  3. Sun - Two Door Cinema Club
  4. No Light, No Light - Florence and the Machine
  5. Ways to Go - Grouplove
  6. Tenerife Sea - Ed Sheeran
  7. As We Are Now - Saint Raymond
  8. Only Love Can Hurt Like This - Paloma Faith
  9. Warrant - Foster the People
  10. Feel - Bombay Bicycle Club
I limited it to 10 songs but I would have loved to add more!  These are the bands/artists I always have on my phone and are a must listen for me.  Most of these artists are well known but Saint Raymond is SO unknown, he needs to be noticed by more people!  I first saw him as a support act at an Ed Sheeran concert at the O2 in Dublin and fell in love.  I have since been to a solo concert of his, have almost all his songs and have ordered a t-shirt, wristband and signed album...  So basically I highly recommend him.  Go listen!

That 70's Show

So if you've been following the trends, you're sure to have noticed the big summer style crush, which is the 70's.  If not, I am here to inform you about it, that's my new mission.
In magazines, runway shows and the windows of most high street shops, you can see this 70's theme. We've got clogs, flares, suede, fringing, floral patterns, etc.

I'm loving this trend.  It's great.  It's nostalgic and modern at the same time.  From the past boyfriend jeans craze, to this new flares phase, it's clear to me that skinnies are going down the hot trends list.  I love skinny jeans but this is new and exciting.  To be perfectly honest I'm tired of the blood-stopping tightness of skinnies and I want to be free to move and not be in fear of a knicker line or the weird feeling that my legs are a weird shape.
Florals are fab too and have a real summer vibe to them.  Who doesn't love flowers?  Apart from those with hayfever...
Clogs are my fave summer shoes. Slip-ons were all over the place at the fashion weeks and I'm yet to snag myself a pair. They're a mix between both shoes and sandals and that is perfect for summer

That's it for now, tell me what you think about the trend in the comments below! x

About Me, An Introduction

So, first things first, I'm not the greatest with words.  So bear with me while I trip over myself trying to explain what I mean.
This is labelled, as you can probably see, "About Me" so I'm going to give a brief description of myself.  I'm Irish, living just outside of Dublin.  I'm a tall, unnatural blonde with brown eyes and an incredibly sarcastic sense of humour (like most teenagers these days).
That's me on the right ready for a charity ball

Like everyone (hopefully), I have interests, of which include art, music, sports and fashion, obviously.  I love to explore new things and I have a bold outlook on life.  My fave fashion staple would be a pair of boots.  I have tons!  I really have to admit I have a shoe addiction...
So I first started blogging at the beginning of this year through school where we had to start up a blog as part of our course.  It had to be about the activities we did in the past year which is kinda cool, but cheesy to read... Follow this link.  If you're interested.
I want this blog to be about fashion, but I'll probably add in things about music, holidays and a few opinion pieces.  So hope that's okay.
Well, that's all for now but read on, I'll try and post as often as possible x
